Point of Sale

POS is your clubhouse's digital brain, handling: Tee time bookings. Green fee & merchandise payments. Inventory management. Member management. All in one system

Payment Processing

Payment processing technology is the system that enables you to pay for goods and services electronically. It involves a complex network of players.

Member Management

Member management software is a crucial tool for any golf course or club, as it helps streamline operations, improve communication with members, and boost overall member satisfaction.

Mobile APP

Custom branded mobile apps for golf courses are like handheld golf course websites on steroids often including features like GPS shot tracking, food and beverage orders and direct messages.

Website

This review explores golf course websites designed for both desktop and mobile platforms, highlighting their functionality and how they cater to the needs of golfers and course managers.

Dynamic Pricing

Dynamic means frequently (very frequently) changing. Technology used to deploy a dynamic tee time pricing strategy ensures unbooked tee time prices very frequently change. Typically, the prices change as time to expiration shortens and demand increases or decreases.

Waitlist

Waitlist technology for golf courses is a digital tool designed to manage tee time bookings more efficiently. It allows golfers to join a waitlist for preferred tee times, automatically filling slots from cancellations or no-shows. This system streamlines operations, enhances customer satisfaction by offering fair access to in-demand tee times, and aids in maximizing course occupancy and revenue. It's particularly beneficial for managing high-demand periods and optimizing resource allocation.

Tournament Management

Tournament management software is designed to save operators time by consolidating and simplifying the numerous tasks required to host a successful golf tournament or event. Golf operators site reliable tournament management tech as a key reason events stay with their golf courses, year after year.

SMS Customer Comms

SMS customer communication software is a powerful tool for golf courses and clubs to stay connected with their members and guests in a quick, convenient, and personal way.

eMail Customer Comms

More about

Links Meridian

Go To Website

Links Meridian is an all-in-one golf club management platform. One login covers the tee sheet and online booking, pro shop and F&B point of sale, member CRM and billing, a built-in general ledger, the club website, marketing, a club-branded member app and AI tools. The company behind it is Links Meridian Limited, registered in Northern Ireland and based in Belfast, and its founder is Connor Johnson. Links Meridian sells worldwide and has regional pages for the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Courses and golfers can write a Links Meridian review using this SURVEY FORM.

Who Links Meridian is for

Links Meridian has pages for private and members' clubs, public and pay-and-play courses, municipal and council courses, and resorts and multi-course operators. Its pitch is one system in place of several, published prices, and no traded tee times. The subscription is the business model: Links Meridian says it does not take tee times in exchange for software and that a club's inventory and data stay the club's.

Tee sheet and booking

Based on Links Meridian's own description and its public tee sheet page:

  • A live tee sheet that updates on every staff screen at once. Staff drag to move a group, swap two groups or change a time.
  • Sequential, shotgun, crossover and two-tee starts, plus blackout dates and recurring tee times for standing weekly groups.
  • Lottery draws with priority rules the club sets, and a waitlist that offers cancellations automatically.
  • Dynamic pricing keyed to day, time, player category and live occupancy, with rate cards, seasons and promo codes. Links Meridian says staff approve price changes.
  • Online booking on the club's own website and in the club-branded app, with card guarantees, prepayment and deposits, and no-show and late-cancel fees set per course.
  • Group and society bookings with one party invoice and deposit, prepaid round packages and season passes, and add-ons such as a buggy, trolley or club set at booking.
  • Email and SMS reminders 24 and 2 hours before the round.

Point of sale

One POS covers the pro shop, bar and restaurant: inventory, gift cards, charging to member accounts, split tender and tips, card readers, table reservations, floor plans and a kitchen display. Card payments run through Stripe, and Links Meridian lists UK card rates from 1.5% + 20p, paid into the club's own account.

Membership, billing and accounting

The member CRM handles family accounts, membership tiers, dues and statements paid by card or ACH bank debit, and spend minimums. A double-entry general ledger with AP, AR, period close and bank reconciliation is built in, and it syncs with QuickBooks Online and Xero.

Website, marketing and member app

  • A club website built, hosted and edited on the platform, on the club's own domain, with booking, events and member login built in.
  • Email and SMS campaigns, member segments, automated workflows and flash sales.
  • Club-branded iOS and Android apps and a member portal where members book tee times, pay statements, order food, enter events and ask an AI concierge.
  • A Digital Clubhouse with a community feed, honours board, course records, challenges and leaderboards.

Also included

Links Meridian lists weddings and private events, tournaments with live scoring, simulator, court and lesson booking, course maintenance, and AI agents for forecasts, marketing and pricing, with staff approval before the agents act.

Pricing

Links Meridian publishes its prices. Monthly plans per club are Starter $99, Standard $299, Professional $749 and Enterprise $1,799, and annual billing takes 20% off (from $79 a month on Starter). Portfolio pricing for multi-course operators starts at $699 per course a month, with a two-course minimum. Each plan includes the one below it. The company says there are no per-module fees, no setup fee and no annual lock-in, and data migration is free. Pro shop and F&B POS, tournaments and accounting integrations start on Professional. AI tools, website hosting, a custom domain, marketing automation and API access are on Enterprise.

Support

Every club gets free data migration and onboarding, and Links Meridian says it runs alongside the club's current system until the numbers match. Support depends on the plan: email on Starter, business-hours phone on Standard, priority phone on Professional and a dedicated customer success manager on Enterprise. On every plan, anything that stops a club trading, such as the tee sheet, POS or payments going down, gets a response around the clock.

What Links Meridian does not say yet

Links Meridian's public pages do not name any customer clubs; its examples use sample clubs. Its pricing page shows two different prices for an additional course ($499 and $399 a month), and it does not state the platform fee, if any, on US card payments for clubs outside its Charter Club program. Reserve with Google, squeeze times, offline POS mode and third-party booking engine connections are not covered. Treat those as questions to ask until Links Meridian confirms them.

Questions to ask in a demo

  • Which clubs run Links Meridian today, in which countries, and can we speak to one of them?
  • Which plan do we need for the features we want, and what does each additional course cost?
  • What are the card processing rates for US clubs, and is there any platform fee on top of Stripe's rate?
  • How long does migration take, and how long do you run alongside our current system?
  • Can golfers book through Reserve with Google, and how do your AI agents hand off to staff?
  • How do we export all member, booking and sales data if we leave?
