TurfDog is golf course maintenance software for superintendents and their crews. It runs the day from a live job board on the shop TV and crew phones, keeps spray and fertilizer application records and SDS sheets, plans hole locations with slope maps, and includes Bingo, an AI assistant that identifies turf diseases from photos, finds product labels and processes invoices. It is published by TurfDog LLC. Its founder, Jeff Barrett, is a working golf course superintendent. Courses and golfers can write a TurfDog review using this SURVEY FORM.
TurfDog is built for the maintenance department: superintendents, assistants and crews, with an executive view for general managers and multi-course operators. It is not a tee sheet or a golfer-facing booking tool. GCTR does not yet have a course maintenance comparison, so TurfDog is listed as a vendor profile.
TurfDog runs on iOS and Android and in a web browser on phones, tablets, desktops and TVs. On paid plans TurfDog lists integrations with SpecConnect, Spiio, POGO, Perry Weather and Strackaline greens, plus Google, Outlook and Apple calendar sync. TurfDog says Excel and CSV export is available on every plan, including the free one.
TurfDog publishes its prices. The Crew plan is free and covers the job board, assignments, shift schedules, inventory, budget tracking, application logs and daily hole locations. Superintendent is $3,499 a year (or $324 a month) and Club is $4,899 a year (or $454 a month), which adds multi-course management, AI invoice processing, disease forecasting and a dedicated account manager. TurfDog's site also lists a one-time setup fee of $1,500 on Superintendent and $2,000 on Club, waived for courses that subscribe during the trial. New courses get a 10-day Club trial with no card required, then drop back to the free Crew plan with their data kept.
TurfDog's public pages do not name customer courses, and its own comparison notes that it is younger than taskTracker or GreenKeeper, with a smaller customer base. Spanish or other language support is not mentioned. Treat those as questions to ask until TurfDog confirms them.
